İM 101 Introduction to Civil Engineering Design and Technical Drawing 

Introduction and construction activities, history and future of civil engineering, science technology and engineering, civil engineering, education and training, civil engineers, working areas, building materials and building systems are introduced. Analysis, design and drafting (Line and Text Study, Scale, Format and Standards, Geometric Drawings, Model Making, Projection, Perspective, Section), modeling, Introduction to AutoCAD commands and associated program. Technical Drawing course in computer implementation of the contents. Real life project will be given to students. 

İM 103 Introduction to Information Technology in Civil Engineering

This course is for students to use their professional lives disipline basic information technology training and the concepts, theories and practices intended to promote. Introduction to Matlab and the terms of the course, teaching a variety of sample problems and the technique used to teach programming logic. Introduction to Word and Excel packages and applications programs or equivalent programs will be taught.Students will prepare their projects in Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint softwares. 

MAT 101 Calculus I

Numbers, complex numbers, absolute value, inequalities involving absolute value function, functions, composite function, trigonometric functions, continuous functions, functions, limits, derivatives, and applications to find the maximum and minimum, offand reverse function derivatives, and applications of L'Hospital's rule. 

FİZ101  Engineering Physics

Physics and measurement, motion in one dimension, vectors, motion in two dimensions, the laws of motion, circular motion and other applications of Newton’s Laws, energy of a system, conservation of energy, linear momentum and collisions, rotation of a rigid object about a fixed axis, angular momentum, static equilibrium and elasticity, universal gravitation, fluid mechanics

KİM 101 Engineering Chemistry

Atomic and molecular structure, periodic table, mainly semiconductor structures, chemical bonding, gases, liquids, volumetric and calorimetric Basic Principles. Analysis of Chemical Reactions, Periodic and group relations, crystallization, sublimation, HighTemperature Reactions, Electrochemistry. Thermodynamics.

 YD 101 Foreign Language I

 The basis of language. Introduction to meeting, starting the conversation, presentation of verbs, description of place and person, skills, references, and accepting offers, frequency adverbs, asking and answering questions, the past tense, regular and irregular verbs and the use of adverbs.

 ATA 101 Ataturk’s Principles and Revolution History
